Alan Manuel is a member of Sidara’s Executive Committee and serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of Currie & Brown. He brings extensive leadership experience across commercial management, project delivery and professional services within the built environment.

Alan is recognized for providing disciplined, outcome‑focused leadership across complex programs globally. He brings a strong commercial lens to major projects, helping clients achieve delivery certainty, effective governance and long‑term value across cost management, project management and advisory services.

At Sidara, Alan contributes to executive‑level leadership through the Executive Committee, supporting strategic direction and cross‑group alignment. In his role as Group Chief Executive Officer of Currie & Brown, he is responsible for setting the firm’s global strategy and overseeing operations across key markets. He leads the business’s performance, capability development and growth agenda, ensuring Currie & Brown continues to support clients on large‑scale programs across multiple sectors.

Alan has held senior leadership roles across the quantity surveying and project management profession, with extensive experience in the delivery of major projects for public and private sector clients. In recognition of his leadership and contribution to the built environment, Glasgow Caledonian University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Engineering.
