Area Director, Dar

Beshara Wakim is a member of the Board of Directors of Sidara and serves on its Audit Committee. He is also a Partner at Dar and holds board positions across Sidara, including at Dar, TYLin, Maffeis, and Su Yapı.

With over 25 years of professional experience, Beshara combines strategic judgement with disciplined operational leadership, shaping the delivery of outcomes across the organization. He provides leadership in the planning, design, engineering, and delivery of major programs spanning buildings and cities, transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure.

At the Sidara level, Beshara contributes to enterprise governance and financial oversight through his service on the Audit Committee, supporting Board‑level oversight across the collaborative. In his role at Dar, he leads business strategy and operations across Kuwait, Türkiye, and Central Asia, strengthening client partnerships and advancing talent development.

He holds an MBA from McGill University, an MEng in Structural Engineering from Cornell University, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, and has completed the Strategic Leadership Program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
