Group General Counsel, Sidara

Teymour Salaam is the Group General Counsel of Sidara and brings more than two decades of international legal experience across the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. He is recognized for guiding complex organizations through regulatory, commercial, and governance matters with clarity and precision, ensuring legal strategy remains aligned with business priorities.

He has deep capability in navigating multi‑jurisdictional legal environments, structuring practical solutions, and supporting organizations through operational and strategic complexity. His approach is grounded in pragmatism, commercial awareness, and an ability to simplify complex legal issues.

At Sidara, Teymour leads the organization’s global legal function and oversees its governance and compliance framework, including the rollout of the Group’s Anti‑Bribery and Compliance policy. His remit strengthens legal structures, manages risk, and enables the organization to operate confidently across diverse regulatory environments.

Before joining Sidara, Teymour held senior in‑house roles at Cisco and Tejari.com and worked with leading UAE law firms including Hadef & Partners and Galadari Advocates & Legal Consultants. He began his legal career at White & Case in New York, advising on multi‑jurisdictional corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. Teymour holds a BA from Vassar College and a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law and is a member of the New York Bar.
