Sidara companies are hosting a series of events looking at shaping a more sustainable built environment as part of London Climate Action Week at the end of June.

Sidara’s newly-crowned BREEAM Outstanding London office will welcome leaders from across the built environment in a series of sessions looking at developing new carbon policies and improving climate resilience in the City of London.

On Monday, 23 June, experts from Sidara companies will be leading an interactive session, looking ahead to the London Plan for 2026, and showcasing how Sidara companies brought 150 Holborn to life. The event will examine how developers, consultants, and other stakeholders can best shape new policies and approaches when it comes to low-carbon construction.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, 25 June, Sidara will be partnering with Buro Happold to take an in-depth look at the climate risks facing London’s financial district and how sustainable design and construction can help ensure a thriving Square Mile for the next generation.

London Climate Action Week brings together over 45,000 participants across more than 300 events across the city. Its aim is to demonstrate how to make an impactful, measurable difference to a highly diverse and populous global city.

London Climate Action Week is the latest in an ongoing series of climate- and sustainability-related events supported by Sidara companies. Later in the year, sustainability leaders from Sidara companies will be coming together once more in New York as part of Climate Week NYC, showcasing our insights and solutions as to how to shape more sustainable urban environments.

Adam Mactavish, Director of Sustainability, Currie & Brown, commented:

“Sidara companies have a long history of climate action in London. Through our many projects around the city, and the impact we have on policy through the likes of LETI, our businesses are committed to shaping a more sustainable world."

“It’s also the first major climate-focused event we’ve hosted at 150 Holborn since it was officially recognized as one of the UK’s most sustainable buildings. This is something we’re exceptionally proud of, and we are looking forward to showing how we have put sustainable design into action in a way that makes a real impact.”
