As New York enters one of the most significant periods of investment in transportation, buildings, clean energy and climate resilience in decades, the challenge is no longer setting ambitious goals. It is bringing together the right partners to turn them into reality.

Against a backdrop of transformational projects including the Interborough Express and large-scale infrastructure investments, Sidara companies are bringing clients, policymakers and industry leaders together during Climate Week NYC 2026 to address some of the city's most pressing urban challenges.

On September 24, the Sidara Sustainable Cities Summit returns for its third year at One Liberty Plaza in Lower Manhattan. Hosted in collaboration with NYCEDC and the New York Climate Exchange, the event will bring together representatives from government, industry and the nonprofit sector for a day of invitation-only workshops.  

This year's program moves beyond traditional presentations, placing participants in collaborative working sessions focused on transportation, buildings, water, and renewable energy. Together, attendees will explore barriers to progress, identify practical solutions, and examine how stronger partnerships can accelerate climate action.  

A key ambition is for these discussions to continue beyond Climate Week through ongoing communities of practice, creating a forum for participants to share insights, review progress and advance ideas throughout the year. 

Experts from TYLin, Perkins&Will, Introba and Currie & Brown will take part throughout the day, demonstrating how multidisciplinary collaboration can help clients address increasingly complex sustainability and infrastructure challenges.
