Sidara today announced the successful completion of Project Helios, a USD 1.35 billion multicurrency financing comprising term loan and revolving credit facilities provided by a select group of leading regional and international banking institutions.

Project Helios represents an important milestone in the continued evolution of the Group’s treasury and funding strategy. The transaction establishes a long-term financing platform aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives and supports the continued development of Sidara’s funding, liquidity and banking framework.

In addition to securing five-year committed funding, Project Helios modernizes Sidara’s financing framework by bringing together multiple facilities under a single market-standard platform governed by internationally recognized Loan Market Association (LMA) documentation. The new framework enhances consistency, strengthens governance and reporting processes, and provides a strong foundation for future growth.

The transaction also broadens Sidara’s banking relationships through the participation of a carefully selected group of regional and international lenders, reflecting strong confidence in the Group’s strategy, performance and long-term outlook.

Talal Shair, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sidara, said:

“Project Helios strengthens the foundations that support our long-term success. The strong backing of a diverse group of leading financial institutions reflects confidence in our strategy, our people and our long-term vision.

“With Helios, Sidara is well positioned to successfully integrate Wood and realize the full potential of its expanded global platform.”
