Earlier this month, London’s 150 Holborn hosted the graduation of the fourth cohort of the Sidara Leadership Institute. The nine-month executive development program concluded with leaders from across our group presenting their final projects to the Sidara Executive Committee, demonstrating the impact of cross-firm collaboration and leadership development.

The Sidara Leadership Institute brings together senior leaders from across our global network to address real-world business challenges while further developing core executive leadership capabilities, including strategic thinking, decision-making and business management.

Delivered through a blend of in-person and virtual sessions, the program enables participants to collaborate flexibly while applying their expertise and learning in practical ways. Executive coaching and collaborative project work ensure leadership theory is translated into meaningful business outcomes.

Tackling real-world business challenges

A defining feature of the program is its emphasis on learning through action. The latest cohort worked in cross-company teams on three strategic projects focused on:

  • Leveraging economies of scale, synergies and efficiencies across the group
  • Key account management and cross-brand strategy, exploring how we can strengthen client engagement and opportunity pursuit
  • Accelerating and embedding Sidara collaboration through visionary leadership

Following the presentations, the projects developed by the teams will now be considered for potential implementation across our group of companies.

Enriching leadership, advancing our group

A defining strength of the program is its ability to build meaningful connections across our business. By bringing together leaders from different brands, disciplines and geographies, it broadens perspectives, strengthens relationships and reinforces a shared approach to leadership across Sidara.

Participants return to their roles with new insights, stronger networks and a deeper understanding of the opportunities that collaboration can unlock. In doing so, they help strengthen the connections, leadership capabilities and shared ambition that will continue to shape Sidara's future.

Gillian Empringham, Sidara Chief People Officer, commented:

“At its core, the Sidara Leadership Institute exists to build something beyond just individual capabilities and horizons. It is all about shaping a connected community of leaders with a deep understanding of how Sidara firms operate as an integrated whole.

“Reaching a fourth cohort reflects the caliber, depth and ambition across our group. Success is measured not only by personal growth, but by the value our leaders create for clients, colleagues and communities. That impact will shape Sidara’s collective future for years to come.”
